Fulton’s Crab House, long a signature restaurant at the formerly named Downtown Disney with its ferry boat construction, will be changing names when it reopens from its six month refurbishment. When the eatery reopens later in 2016, the Levy Restaurant-owned property will be named Paddlefish.
As per a statement from Levy Restaurants, Paddlefish will be offering seafood, steak and chops as well as lobster risotto, Maine lobster and more. Popular menu items from the previous Fulton’s menu including Florida Stone Crab, Alaska King and Queen crab and lobster corn dogs will be coming back as well.
No word on a price point for the new menu when Paddlefish opens later in 2016. As per the Orlando Sentinel, Fulton’s was the 13th highest grossing in the United States taking in more than $21 million annually, which averages out to around $45 per check. Fulton’s was a two credit restaurant on the Disney Dining Plan, but no word if that same amount will remain once Paddlefish reopens.
