Do we now know the dates for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party for September 2016?
Disney has released its tentative park hours schedule for the month of September to travel agents. In the calendar there are a number of dates where the Magic Kingdom closes at 7:00 PM, its customary closing time on nights when Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) occurs.
MNSSHP hours last from 7:00 PM until 12:00 AM. Guests who’ve purchased tickets to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party may enter the Magic Kingdom as early at 4:00 PM, giving them up to 8 hours inside the park (if they haven’t purchased a separate park ticket or are annual pass holders).

The September dates highlighted in yellow on the calendar reflect those days when the Magic Kingdom is set to close at 7:00 PM, the customary park closing time for evenings when Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is held.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party are typically held on 25 days during the months of September and October. As per the released calendar, there are 13 dates in the month of September 2016 where the Magic Kingdom closes at 7:00 PM with the earliest date potentially on September 2nd. In past years, the first MNSSHP has occurred on Labor Day, so an early date isn’t out of the relm of possibility.
While Disney can certainly change up calendar times and park hours from now until September, we feel safe in assuming the dates starting on September 11th and going forward will be Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party nights.
Anyone planning on going to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2016?
What about October 2016? We will be there from the 15 – 21.
I have my fingers crossed for Tuesday, Sept. 20! Really hoping that 1) there’s a party that night and 2) it’s one of the less crowded party dates! Already planning our costumes!!!
Is Cinderella’s Royal Table open on Halloween party nights? If I buy a regular ticket do you think I could make a 6:30 dinner reservation without purchasing Halloween ticket. We are at Disney Sept 28-Oct 8 and was hoping to do 3 regular MK days (staying out of the parks on weekends). We did the party last yr and was hoping to skip it… but I am afraid I am going to be forced into buying Halloween tickets to get another full day at MK.
If you can get a 6:30 PM dinner reservation inside MK on a Halloween party night, you’ll be ok and won’t have to purchase the event ticket.
Disney usually accepts reservations like this up to the 7:00 PM hour on special event nights. If you do get a reservation time at 6:30 PM and your party is inside the restaurant until after the Halloween party starts, Disney won’t rush your experience. Once you and your party has finished, Disney will have CM’s outside to escort you to the park exit.
