Seven Weeks In Walt Disney World – Time is Flying!

September 22, 2012 by Aunesty Reikofski 1 Comment

We have now lived here for 7 weeks, and today marks the 7th day out of that time that we haven’t done something Disney related.  Those 7 days broken down:
1 – Universal Studios, Isle of Adventure
2 – Cocoa Beach
3 – Clearwater Beach in Tampa
4 – Sea World
5 – Errands/work
6 – Babies weren’t feeling well
7 – Errands/work

We have done all the Disney parks NUMEROUS times, both water parks, Blizzard Beach twice, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Downtown Disney NUMEROUS times, Disney Quest 4 times, The Polynesian (twice – toured), The Grand Floridian (twice – toured), Art of Animation (toured), Port Orleans Riverside (stayed), Caribbean Beach (toured), The Wedding Pavilion (toured), Golfed at 3 of the 5 Disney Golf Courses, One Character Meal – Chef Mickey’s, Watched a live procedure on a Kangaroo (AK), Drank around the world three times (Epcot), Have had 2 VIP seatings for two of the three night time shows (IllumiNations and Fantasmic), Filmed in a WDW commercial (in resort commercial), Sea World, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, Been to Hogwarts (!!!!!!!!!!), swam in the Atlantic and in the Gulf of Mexico, collected sea shells, made a sand castle, been through a Tropical Storm, fed a stingray, and we have met some really GREAT people in this journey but all of this is just barely  a scratch on the surface of things to do.  Our list of everything we want to do is still a mile long:

We want to:

Visit EVERY WDW resort and get tons of pictures, stay in at least four more Disney resorts, and two of the downtown Disney hotels, Rent the sea racer and the Pontoon boat at WDW, Richard Petty’s Driving experience (Aunesty), Exotic Car experience (Patrick), more character meals, EVERY ride in all the Disney parks (no we have not ridden every ride yet), get a massage at one of the spas, See a wedding at the Wedding Pavilion, Cirque De Soleil, Epcot Segway Tour (Keep Moving Forward: See the World, Share the Dream), Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Universal Studios City Walk, Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, Universal Studios of Florida, Vero Beach, Key West, Gatorland, A helicopter tour, Mini Golf at Disney,Tour Disney’s Shades of Green, Go to the Everglades, See a race at Daytona, Go to a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game, go to an Orlando Magic game, Go to the Braves spring training, go to Space Center, visit a rocket launch, Busch Gardens, and SO MUCH MORE…. this is just a short list!!!!!

Can you tell that we kind of love it here?  So much to do, so much to see.

Do you have any recommendations for us?  Any places we should go visit?  Restaurants you recommend?

At Epcot, there is a Chinese food place which I could have to say has Orange Chicken to die for.
