While in Branson we had the opportunity to go on the Showboat Branson Bell. I had never done a river boat cruise before and with two preschoolers was a little concerned that they would get bored. But they surprised us and did really well.
The boat was beautiful, and the eating/show area was a lot larger than I thought it would be. The food served to adults was good. We did get the kids each a kids meal of their popcorn chicken and mac-n-cheese. We tried it before telling the kids to and decided against feeding it to them as it was awful.
Now the main reason for going on the Showboat Bell wasn’t for food, but the show. The magician guy was funny and good. I even got called up on stage

The show is made up of several acts, a female singer, a boy band and the dancing guys. While some parts of the show were more tailored to an older audience, we really ended up really enjoying it. I even found myself telling my husband that I think his parents would have liked it.
A few things to know, either arrive really early so you don’t have to wait in the blistering sun, those in line earlier have a cover over head. Or arrive later so the line is gone and you can board quickly. If traveling with younger kids or picky eaters, pack food for them to eat. This, like most everything in Branson, is a dry establishment. Meaning there is no beer or alcohol served. So don’t come expecting to get a cold one with your meal. They do however allow smoking on the boat, outside…. why one and not the other, I have no idea.
A few of my pictures from the boat, the show and the surroundings….
And a few pictures of the performers and the show on the Bell
