101 Walt Disney World Date Night Activites ( or things to do without Children)

Sometimes Walt Disney World needs to be for the grown ups and yes, that is possible.  In fact, I think Walt Disney World can be more fun for the adults than the children.  So if you are fortunate enough to go without little ones in tow, then some of our 101 Walt Disney World Date Activities may be just the list for you.  These activities, while great for a date night are also great for when you are able to enjoy all that Disney has to offer without bringing elementary and younger children with you.

101 Date Ideas for Walt Disney World {or things to do without  the kids}

The list is a growing one, so as you can tell, I haven’t quite reached 101, but I am VERY close.  I would love some input to help me get past 101… so leave a comment below with your favorite Adult things to do at Walt Disney World.

  1. Dining Experiences
    1. Make reservations for any of Disney’s Fine Dining Restaurants
    2. Enjoy the Game at ESPN Zone at either the Boardwalk or Wide World of Sports
    3. Enjoy a character meal that is for you
    4. Eat around the World, taste  one item from each of the countries in World Showcase at Epcot
    5. Dessert Hop through MK, Epcot or HS.  Find all the quick service locations and try one dessert from each
  2. Magic Kingdom
    1. Grab some ice cream and head to the quiet area behind Tomorrowland Speedway
    2. Do all the Mountains – Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain
    3. Capture the Magic, Take a picture at each of the “land marks” in each “Land”
    4. The Hall of Presidents – Sit Watch and Enjoy
    5. Liberty Square Riverboat – Grab a Turkey leg and hop on to the boat.  Sit back and ride it numerous times while enjoying the view and the conversation
    6. Ride Marathon – Pick one ride and see how many times in a row you can ride it
    7. Get a couples photo with as many characters as you can in one night
    8. Take the Keys to the Kingdom Tour
    9. Take the Magic Behind our Steam Engines Tour
    10. Take the Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour
  3. Animal Kingdom
    1. Go on a Safari, but ONLY a Safari.  Ride Kilimanjaro over and over and experience the animals in different ways.
    2. Walk through all the nature trails and see all the animals AK has.  No rides, just walk
    3. Go to Africa and watch the band, then head to Asia and watch the dancers – JOIN in
    4. Ride Expedition Everest three times, once in the front, once in the back and once in the middle.
    5. Go to Dinoland and play the games in Fossil Fun Games
    6. Spend the afternoon at Rafaki’s Plant Watch, walking, watching and learning
    7. Take the Backstage Safari Tour
    8. Take the Wild Trek Africa Tour
    9. Take the Wild by Design Tour
  4. Epcot
    1. Movie Night – go to the movie in each country
    2. Grab some Fish and Chips, head behind UK and watch British Revolution
    3. Grab a Canadian Beer and watch
    4. Take in Carol Stein’s show at the Rose and Crown Pub
  5. Hollywood Studios
    1. Head over to the 50’s Prime Time Diner Bar and enjoy a drink
    2. have a meal in a drive in at the Sci-Fi Restaurant and be sure to share a shake!
    3. Bring your picnic in with you, and head over to streets of America and enjoy your dinner (or lunch) sitting on the stoops in San Francisco
  6. DTD
    1. Splitsville
    2. Disney Quest
    3. AMC Movies
    4. Dancing and Street Bands
    5. House of Blues
    6. La Nouba
    7. Characters in Flight
    8. Food Trucks
    9. Shopping
    10. Raglan Road
  7. Resort
    1. AKL – Quick Service dining to-go and eating beside fire and rocking chairs on the Savannah
    2. POR – Rooster’s Nest to watch Bob the Piano Man.
    3. Any resort – Going to pool
    4. Any resort – Doing movie under the stars and picnic with Quick Service to-go
    5. Polynesian – Watching Wishes on sand from the beach.
    6. Spa treatments or Massages at one of the Disney resort Spas
    7. Watercraft rental
    8. Holiday Time – Go look at all the Christmas Trees, Gingerbread displays
    9. GF – Listen to the band
    10. Monorail Ride – Take the Epcot Monorail for a couple of spins and enjoy the views.  If you do at night, you can watch the fireworks as you head through Epcot.
  8. Sports
    1. Golf
    2. Mini-Golf
    3. Catch a game at ESPN Wide World of Sports
    4. Bass Fishing
    5. Richard Petty Driving Experience
    6. Run or Watch & Cheer on a Marathon or Race
    7. Para-Sailing
    8. Jet Skiing
    9. Horseback riding at Fort Wilderness
    10. Rent Bikes
  9. Boardwalk
    1. Jelly Rolls
    2. Boardwalk Street Performers
    3. Boardwalk Games
    4. Catch a game at the ESPN Zone
    5. Enjoy ice cream while walking around
