As you may heard Walt Disney World was planning on launching a new game inside the Animal Kingdom park based on the Disney Movie Up. If you remember one of the main characters was a little boy named Russell, he was a Wilderness Explorer trying to earn badges. Well now you too can be a Wilderness Explorer and earn 31 different badges (stickers) inside of Animal Kingdom.
After you get your Handbook, take a look at where all the Explorer Stations are, and make your plan for hitting as many as you can throughout your day enjoying Animal Kingdom.
We have taken pictures of every page in the Wilderness Explorers handbook to help you plan your next trip to Animal Kingdom. We are starting our official Wilderness Explorer badge work next week. As we go station by station we will take video and share with you.
If you want your own copy of the Wilderness Explorers Handbook, leave a comment below telling us your favorite attraction in Animal Kingdom and on 06/09/13 we will select three commenters to send a handbook too.

Do you happen to have another copy of this booklet? I am trying to throw a wilderness explorer birthday for my two sons, and I would love to include this! We just left Disney last week, and I am kicking myself that I didn’t grab several copies of this while we were there! Thank you so much! Ashley Wallace
Would love to be able to print out a pdf for planning before going, as we’ll just have one day at AK and we always fill our day completely, as it is!
I love the train that goes to Rafiki’s Planet Watch – does that count? 🙂
Very Cool. Just that much more fun for the kids. My kids already will do similar things and national parks and become honorary rangers. Now a Disney theme, what can be better..
My favorite attraction at AK is Kilimanjaro Safaris. And I love the new addition of the Wilderness Explorers. Very cool!! Can’t wait to try it on our next trip.
That looks like such fun! Can’t wait to go back and play! It is so nice of you guys to post each page and take videos as you get your badges!
I’ve never been to AK–can you believe it? But I’m changing that when we go on our first big family vacation with our four little ones, ages 6, 5, 4 & 2 in September! I think I’m most looking forward to the Safari. 🙂
