Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet Hours Are Extended!

Anna and Elsa, the popular princess characters from Disney’s hit movie Frozen, have been the most sought after characters at WDW in recent memory.  Originally, guests could see the two sisters at the Norway pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase starting in November 2013.  Wait times to see them at that location often ranged from 90 to 180 minutes.  In May of 2014, DisneyWorld relocated Anna and Elsa to their current Magic Kingdom location at the Princess Fairy Tail Hall in Fantasyland.  However, wait times seem to have only increased.  It’s not unusual to see a posted wait time of 300 minutes during midday to see them.

What are the hours to see Anna and Elsa at Magic Kingdom?

As of June 1st, 2014, the new hours to see Anna and Elsa are now from park opening to 30 minutes prior to park closing (this includes Extra Magic Hours).  Previously, Anna and Elsa were only available to be seen from park opening to 5:30 PM.  Park openings at Magic Kingdom typically are 9:00 AM with closings ranging from 10:00 to 1:00 AM.  This extra time to see the Frozen princess should help to allow for more people to see Anna and Elsa and provide more flexibility with a guest’s schedule.

If I’m in line to see Anna and Elsa at their closing, will I be turned away?

With the long wait times, people can get nervous about possibly being turned away from seeing Anna and Elsa.  As long as you’re standing in line at 30 minutes prior to closing time for Anna and Elsa, you’re guaranteed to see the princesses.  If you’re not in line at that time, you will not be able to see them until the next day.

Can I use Fast Pass+ (FP+) to see Anna and Elsa?

Yes, you can use FP+ to schedule your visit.  With the new visit schedules, many FP+ times for Anna and Elsa are now open for guests to convienently schedule their visits.  Previous to June 1st, 2014, it seemed to be difficult to schedule any FP+ times for Anna and Elsa as they seemed to be booked for weeks at a time.  However, with the new schedule, several blocks of FP+ times are now open for guests to schedule.
