Disney Kitchen Gadgets You Didn’t Know You Needed

Disney Kitchen Gadgets You Didn’t Know You Needed

Every Disney Addict needs to keep the magic alive at home between visits to the park or for special touches at random times through out the year.  Let's say a birthday party, or breakfast, or even dinner, or with a cocktail. I personally own this one, the Mickey Mouse gummy maker and my kiddos LOVE it!  To be honest so do I. For less than $20 you too can make your own … [Read more...]

Legoland Hotel Florida, Yes Everything is Awesome!

So we had the opportunity to do a one night stay at the Legoland Hotel in Florida this past weekend.  Carson and Courtney had been BEGGING us to visit there since May 2015 when we were last at Legoland and saw them building the hotel.  When we found out we were going to stay at the Legoland Hotel, I made the mistake of telling the kids two weeks before it was going to … [Read more...]

Jord Wood Watches for Men

I'm not a jewelry guy.  Outside of my wedding band I don't wear any other jewelry pieces (although I'm an Apple fanboy I'm not too interested in getting an iWatch).  However, I do like a nice watch to wear on occasion.  If I'm in any kind of formal setting, I think a watch is a perfect accessory for me.  The key for me, though, has been finding a watch to complement my … [Read more...]

A Resort and More – Grand Country Resort in Branson, MO

When got to the Grand Country Resort in Branson, MO I wasn't sure what to expect, but I definitely didn't expect what we got.  The resort was much larger than I remembered (I stayed there 10 years ago) and there was so much to do! Now from what I understand there are two different types of rooms, the standard and the New Clubhouse Rooms.  We stayed in a Clubhouse … [Read more...]

Roadtrip Night One – Fairfield Inn & Suites Jonesboro, AR

We started our two week roadtrip adventure on June 18, 2015.  Our first destination is Branson, MO and the drive from Walt Disney World to Branson is 17 hours, or 1,094 miles. So when we headed out we thought we would stop in Memphis, TN for the first night and finish the drive the morning of June 19.  As we pulled into Memphis, I started the search for a hotel using the … [Read more...]

Holiday Inn Express, Metropolis IL

Holiday Inn Express, Metropolis IL

Our road trip from Nebraska back to Florida saw us drive over 1500 miles in just 2 days again.  We tried this strategy on our way to Nebraska and seemed to work well, so we did it again on the way back.  We wanted to make it back to Clarksville, TN for our overnight stay but our 3 year old daughter Courtney had enough of the van for the day.  Using our strategy of iPhone apps … [Read more...]

Hilton Garden Inn, Clarksville TN

Hilton Garden Inn, Clarksville TN

Our most recent road trip back to the Midwest saw us make the almost 1600 mile trip in 2 days instead of our typical 3 days. I take a look at our 3 day road trips and see the 3rd day as being a light travel day in terms of miles and time, usually 6 hours or less. While it's comfortable, I've cringe at the extra hotel money we have to pay and have always thought "why don't we … [Read more...]

The Nickelodeon Suites in Orlando

As many of you know, we were hotel hopping for two weeks while waiting on a long term location to open up due to a fire and flood.  For one of our weeks we stayed in the Nickelodeon Suites.  Before getting there I was super excited for it.  I couldn't wait to get there.  I was sure that it would be fun for the kids and offer some relief to the absolutely hectic and craziness … [Read more...]

Wyndham Vacation Rentals – Perfect for your next Vacation

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Wyndham Vacation Rentals.Like most families in the United States, we look at July as a great time to take our vacation. A big decision in our vacations is where we’re going to stay. Over the years, we’ve come to realize we have a preference of staying a vacation rental place instead of a hotel. As JULY is National … [Read more...]
