Hidden Mickey Monday – Jungle Cruise Sign

May 13, 2013 by Aunesty Reikofski 4 Comments

hidden-mickey-mondaysI have seen several comments regarding this particular Hidden Mickey.  Some say that it is gone, others swear it is still there.  Well in today’s Hidden Mickey Monday I am going to prove why both parties believe what they do, and show you that yes the barnacle Hidden Mickey is still there on the Jungle Cruise Sign.

First let’s discuss why some say it isn’t there.  You see, this particular Hidden Mickey is only on one side of the sign.  If you are walking up to the Jungle Cruise from the Crystal Palace, the side of the sign you see does NOT contain a Hidden Mickey:

But if you view the Jungle Cruise sign from the other side, coming from the Pirates of the Caribbean, Then you will see the Barnacle Hidden Mickey, it is small, so look close:

Wow didn’t know about this one. Will have to take a closer look next time we are in the park. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hmmm.. That one’s debatable for me. I’m a believer that, in order to be a true Hidden Mickey, the ears have to be proportionate to the head…
