Our Florida Bucket List

October 23, 2014 by Aunesty Reikofski 1 Comment

So we are taking part in the Florida Wish you Were Here campaign and finally venturing out to Miami.  When we moved here we discussed driving the whole coast of Florida, so I could shoot, Pat could video and we could experience all that Florida has to offer.  We had a sort of Florida Bucket List if you will, of things and places we wanted to experience in Florida.

It’s been two years now that we have been down here, and sadly we haven’t really been able to check much off our list.  So with this new Florida Wish you Were Here campaign, we are going to start checking items off our bucket list.

Our Florida Bucket List

This weekend we will check off Miami and hopefully be able to check off Key Largo and the Everglades as well.  We will be staying at the Marriott, which is typically our hotel choice any where we travel in the US.  We have found the consistency of cleanliness, friendly staff and large rooms remains no matter if we are in Florida, Colorado or Kentucky.

Florida Bucket List:

  1. Do an Air Boat Ride
  2. Visit the Everglades
  3. Deep Sea Fishing ~ Aunesty
  4. A Helicopter Tour over Orlando theme parks
  5. Drive the entire coast line
  6. Find a whole sand dollar on the beach ~ Aunesty
  7. Go to the Keys
  8. Go to St Augustine
  9. Visit the State Fair
  10. Visit ever theme park in Central Florida
    1. Walt Disney World
    2. Universal Studios
    3. SeaWorld
    4. Gatorland
    5. Legoland
    6. Bush Gardens
  11. Go to Miami
  12. Swim with Dolphins
  13. Shelling on Honeymoon Island
