Peter Pan’s Flight Debuts New Standby Queue Line

November 23, 2014 by Patrick Reikofski Leave a Comment

If you’ve been a recent guest in the past few months at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, you’ve may have noticed the standby queue line at Peter Pan’s Flight in Fantasyland was under construction.  Wait times for the Peter Pan ride has historically been amongst the longest of all the Magic Kingdom rides as average wait times seem to be around 50 to 60 minutes at any given time.  We, like most people, thought the refurbishment construction would potentially help with the wait times, or at least alleviate some of the crowding in that area of the park.

Today, Disney World unveiled a brand new indoor standby queue line for Peter Pan’s Flight.  Unannounced and unbeknownst to even the CM’s who work in that area of Magic Kingdom, the indoor line features several different scenes of the London house where the Darling family resides.  Guests enter the house and will see portraits of the entire family.  After moving past the entrance, guests will be taken through the nursery and will be shown the beds of all the children: Wendy, John, and Michael and even Nana’s doghouse.

Here’s our video of the new Peter Pan queue:

Here’s our photos we captured of the new queue line (notice the new hidden mickey we found as well):
