We had the pleasure of attending our first ever Christmas Celebration at SeaWorld Orlando last week. We were blown away! I think I was expecting something similar as the Spooktacular, a street of decorations, shops and a few games, but not much more. Boy was I wrong!
SeaWorld Orlando literally does up the ENTIRE park for Christmas! From the shops, to the attractions, to the overhead music. It was like being in a Christmas Town all day long! But the real magic happened that night, as the sun went down and SeaWorld turned on the lights. WOW, hundreds of trees floating on the water, wreaths of lights and Christmas decor everywhere! It was positively breath taking and inspiring to be in the middle of.
Because there is so much to show you and tell you about, I have broken this into several posts:
Shamu Christmas Miracles Show
The Polar Express Experience
Winter Wonderland on Ice
Holiday Reflections Fireworks Show
Merchandise of SeaWorld Orlando for Christmas
Some of the experiences we didn’t have time to enjoy were:
Elmo’s Christmas Wish
Sea of Trees
O Wondrous Night
I enjoyed our visit so much and my only regret was that I didn’t have enough time to take more photos and see everything.
SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration takes place select dates November 23 through December 31, 2013, and is included in park admission or annual pass. Here in a wintery, watery wonderland, guests of all ages will enjoy loads of frosty fun as they watch stunning live shows inspired by the natural world, journey to the North Pole on THE POLAR EXPRESS Experience, then share a smile with a playful penguin at the South Pole while visiting the park’s newest attraction, Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin®! Christmas carols fill the air as guests encounter a sparkling Sea Of Trees over the center lake and dazzling costumed-skaters dance on ice. With everything from Santa to Shamu® and presents to penguins, SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration is where the season meets the sea.
