The Rosen Hotels for the Holidays

December 8, 2013 by Aunesty Reikofski Leave a Comment

We are always looking for more things to do around Orlando that make it feel more like the Holiday season.  With the 86 degree weather here these last couple of weeks, it doesn’t feel like back home at all!  And well, it is hard to feel very Christmasy when you are sweating…. But like I said, we are always looking for ways to bring in that Christmas feeling and the Rosen Hotels are definitely helping with that!

Rosen Hotel Holidays  “Rosen Hotels & Resorts is presenting an array of holiday entertainment in partnership with local performing arts groups, visits from Santa and so much more, so load the sleigh with family, friends and anyone looking for some holiday cheer this year and head to Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando!”

Ok so we want to know what that means…. an array of Holiday Entertainment?  Well after viewing their lineup of activities at their various hotels, we decided this may be just what we needed for a good dose of Christmas!

We looked through their list of events and decided the weekend of the 12/14/13 looked promising for activities that both the children would enjoy and that our readers would be interested in.  You tell me, doesn’t this lineup look good to you too?

Sunday Afternoon, December 15, 2 – 4pm
Christmas stories will be read each week by celebrity guests to benefit CCI.

December 15th ~ Fred Schneider of the B-52s will do a special reading of “Sassafrass Jones and the Search for a Forever Home,” e book will also be available for purchase, with proceeds to benet CCI.

Saturday, December 14th (4:00PM-10:00PM)

Ice Skating Rink

Take an afternoon or evening skate on the synthetic rink located on the outdoor patio. With interactive characters, face painting, balloon art, photo booth, DJ and more, there’s plenty to enjoy. (Additional charges may apply)
$16.00 Per Adult including Skates (10 and up)
$10.00 Per Child (6-9 years old)

Sunday, December 14  (11:30am – 1:30pm) Lunch with Santa

Guests are invited to enjoy a bountiful lunch buffet with Santa and decorate cake pops at Café Gauguin, to the sound of holiday carolers. *Visit from Santa, cake pop decorating and activity are included in the purchase of each lunch buffet.

 Saturday, December 14, 5 – 8:00PM Dinner with Santa

Spend the evening writing a letter and dining with Santa himself at Café Gauguin. *Visit from Santa and activity are included in the purchase of each dinner buffet. $9.95++ (4-12yrs. old)

You can see their FULL schedule of Holiday Events on the Rosen Hotel Holiday site

They do a party scheduled for New Year’s Eve as well, but since the babies are still little, we will stay home and enjoy the festivities from our TV.  I am hoping that I can at the very least get some great pictures of their party though!
